Louisianna Flyer Smashes them 1st Up in Town!
Congratulations to the owners of Louisianna Flyer; Joseph Racing Syndicates first ever city winner!

Hi everyone,

What a win. Jumping from barrier 2, Louisianna Flyer settled 2nd last in this 1200mtr event, with favourites Cleric and The Amir taking forward positions. As the race progressed it seemed as though Louie was too far back to make an impact, not even being called in the running. But, at the top of the straight it was soon apparent that the Flyer was only just warming up. Little Louie unleashed a cracking run down the outside to put paid to the Sydneysiders and career away to record a resounding win.

Upon dismounting jockey Danny Beasley praised the horse's consistency, saying he always put in a proper effort each time he went around. Later he said to the lucky owners on track that the key to him travelling so well was getting him back and settled in the race. Barbara echoed those remarks and passed on her hearty congratulations to all connections. She was sure he was going to run a good race following his work this week, and the short let up has proved to be an absolute masterstroke. Louie is back better than ever and with 2 city placings and now a last start city win under his belt.
