Maiden Win for Back To Zero Back To Zero has recorded his first career win by taking out the Colts and Geldings Maiden Plate over 1100m at Gundagai, the first race on the card on Snake Gully Cup Day. It was a thoroughly deserved win by Back To Zero, who had been placed second at each of his two previous runs this preparation. Back To Zero's stablemate, Fab Cat, backed up his last start win with a solid third placing later on in the day. Full Story Absolutely Fabulous! Fab Cat has produced a good finishing burst in the home straight to record his first career win in the Maiden Handicap over 1300m at Goulburn. The 3yo Catbird gelding made a lot of owners in the Joseph Racing No.4 Syndicate very happy, and that appreciation was most evident after the race with a big contingent of owners on track to celebrate the victory. On a day that could have been anything for the stable, Paper Tail, Back To Zero and Vigneron all finished second in their respective races, but all demonstrated that their turn in the winner's circle might not be far away. Full Story Vintage Rock Victorious in Sydney Canberra Cup ambitions remain firmly on track for promising 5yo Thunder Gulch mare, Vintage Rock, following a courageous effort in taking out the Fillies and Mares Rating 86 Handicap over 1500m at Rosehill. Full Story Joseph Runners Fight Out the Quinella The Joseph stable had two runners contest the Rating 67 Handicap over 1460m at Queanbeyan, and those two runners fought out the finish, with Cellular holding out his stablemate Vigneron. It was a good effort by both horses, who despite dropping in grade on previous efforts, had to carry the top weight of 58kg in the event. Full Story Universal Boy Dominant Again The hot streak that the Joseph stable have been enjoying over the past few weeks has continued, with Universal Boy recording his second stunning victory in a row, this time in the Baradine Cup at Coonamble over 1300m. The Joseph stable's only other runner on the day, Snip Of Brilliance, continued his consistent form with a good third in the Coonamble Sky Channel Gold Cup over 1600m. Full Story More Black Type Success for Belong To Many The many owners of Belong To Many will be partying long and hard following another success by their mare in Black Type company. Last preparation she was successful at Group 2 level with a courageous win in the Sapphire Stakes at Randwick over the Sydney Autumn Carnival. Her value as a broodmare continues to rise following another courageous win, this time in the Listed Le Tan Stakes over 1200m at Caulfield during the Melbourne Spring Carnival. On both occasions she was ridden by James Winks - his only two rides on the mare. Full Story Country Cup Win for Island Swing Island Swing has recorded the 10th win of his illustrious career with an authoritative display in the Spring Country Cup over 1600m at Warwick Farm. The 8yo Celtic Swing gelding has been mixing his form of late, but when he puts his best foot forward he has shown that he can be awfully hard to hold out. Full Story Sobeit Wins the Cootamundra Cup Sobeit is quickly emerging as genuine middle distance horse after back to back wins over the 2000m distance.
